Attention Parents of 7-12 Students - On Wednesday, January 11, Tim Flick of the Nebraska State Patrol will present to our 7-12 students and staff on internet safety. A brief description of the presentation from State Trooper Flick follows:
“As far as information on the presentation, I cover a brief history of the Internet and what is it has become overtime. I talk about what a right is compared to what an expectation is in regards to the applicability of the Internet as well. Eventually the presentation will lead into discussion about what to do and what not to do, some outcomes of making the wrong choice when it comes to Internet usage, and how those choices can affect people later on in life. Including some information on human trafficking, and exploitation.“
