Congratulations to our 1st Quarter Honor Roll Students!
El 31 de octubre, un grupo de junior y senior estudiantes de la clase de español fueron a un concierto de español en North Platte. Durante el concierto, los estudiantes aprendieron a bailar salsa, tocar instrumentos típicos de Puerto Rico, y aprendieron a decir trabalenguas. Los estudiantes diseñaron el logotipo de la camiseta que usaron para el concierto. También los estudiantes hicieron posters con el nombre de las canciones que Edgar Renee canto durante el concierto. Edgar Renee se tomó fotos con los estudiantes durante y después del concierto.
Después del concierto, los estudiantes fueron a almorzar en el restaurante Tres Margaritas. Los estudiantes ordenaron la comida en español y cantaron canciones que han aprendido en la clase de español. Adicionalmente los estudiantes fueron a una tienda Mexicana para aprender acerca de los diferentes tipos de alimentos, condimentos, y dulces de México. Los estudiantes tuvieron la oportunidad de comprar y disfrutar de los dulces Mexicanos.
On October 31, a group of junior and senior Spanish class students went to a Spanish concert in North Platte. During the concert, students learned to dance salsa, play typical Puerto Rican instruments, and learned to say tongue twisters. The students designed the logo for the t-shirt they wore to the concert. The students also made posters with the names of the songs that Edgar Renee sang during the concert. Edgar Renee took photos with the students during and after the concert.
After the concert, the students went to lunch at the Tres Margaritas restaurant. The students ordered the food in Spanish and sang songs they have learned in Spanish class. Additionally, the students went to a Mexican store to learn about the different types of foods, condiments, and sweets from Mexico. Students had the opportunity to buy and enjoy Mexican sweets.

Congratulations to Aleah! The Adams Bank & Trust Student of the Quarter! My name is Aleah Blochowitz, I am the daughter of Kyle and Jennifer Blochowitz. My high school activities include: volleyball, basketball, track, golf, bowling, NHS, science olympiad, 4-H, Knight Vision Student Advisory Committee, FFA, and cheerleading. In December of 2022, I traveled to Honolulu, Hawaii and performed in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade as an All-American Cheerleader. This last summer I was selected as a delegate to represent South Platte at Cornhusker Girls State in Lincoln. I also volunteered at Royal Family Kids Camp this summer and met many wonderful people. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, along with my dog Scooby. When I graduate high school I intend on pursuing a degree in nursing to become a registered nurse.
