The South Platte Preschool and K-12 Christmas program will be December 8th at 6:30pm.
Congratulations to the 1st Place South Platte One Act Cast and Crew in the Blue Division (7 schools) , at the North Platte One Act Festival on Saturday.
Haily Koenen was the Outstanding Lead Actress. Dash Richards and Joseph Hobbs were the Outstanding Supporting Actors. The Tech Crew was rated the best Blue Division. Congratulations!

Nuestros estudiantes de la clase de Español celebraron el dia de los muertos con traditions de los pasises de Mexico, Ecuador, Honduras, Guatemala, y Peru. Ellos aprendieron como los paises del habla hispana celebran el dia de los muertos. Los estudiantes tambien hicieron los "altares" que es una tradicion mexica que simbiliza el recuerdo de las personas que han fallecido. Adicionalmente los estudiantes aprendieron a preparar tortillas de harina y maiz. Durante la presentacion de los "altares" y la preparacion de alimentos los estudiantes tenian que hablar en Español.
Our Spanish class students celebrated the day of the dead with traditions from the countries of Mexico, Ecuador, Honduras, Guatemala, and Peru. They learned how Spanish-speaking countries celebrate the day of the dead. The students also made the "altars" which is a Mexican tradition that symbolizes the memory of people who have passed away. Additionally, the students learned to prepare flour and corn tortillas. During the presentation of the "altars" and the preparation of food the students had to speak in Spanish
Congratulations to the junior class for the winning door design in the Red Ribbon Week contest with “Drugs Make You Lose Your Head”.
Coming in 2nd place were the Freshmen with “Listen to Your Mummies, Drugs are for Dummies”.

Congratulations to the South Platte Lady Knights Volleyball team for winning the D1-12 subdistrict.
The Knight Vision student advisory group passed out bracelets and asked kids to sign the drug and bully free pledge today at lunch to help kick off Red Ribbon Week at School today. Several kids also participated in crazy sock day because “doing drugs is CRAZY!”
